But actually the main role plays rather quality of the sleep than its duration. It's rather important when and how we sleep! Here are some rules, which can help you to look better and live longer...:

Secret 1

Never eat before going to bed! Of course, you know that late eating affects negatively your forms. Your stomach needs rest, but large and late meal makes it work all the night. Actually, if you are impatient to eat, choose only delicate food (vegetables, fruits, milk products) and try to eat it 2 hours before sleep. Secret 2

It's preferable to go sleep not later than at 10-11 p.m. According to biorhythms, the most useful time for sleeping is from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Anyway, your sleep should cover the time from 2 to 4 a.m. Sleeping exactly at this time is the most useful and profound for you. Pay attention to the fact that it is not recommended sleeping during the day. Especially avoid sleeping before sunset. Strange as it may seem, but the sleep duration depends on eating: the less you eat the less you sleep. By the way, long-livers sleep very little – not more than 4-6 hours a day. So, it's up to you to choose.

Secret 3

It's better to sleep northward or eastward. When our forefathers explained this statement, they were basing on magnetic lines' direction. In accordance with Feng Shui, each person should find his own favorable sleep direction. Feng Shui as well recommends not to place a bed across front door. Note, that the mirror quantity in bedroom should be limited.

Secret 4

It's better to sleep on a hard and plain surface. It can sound strange, but sleeping on a hard mattress is much more useful. Sleeping on a smooth feather bed make your body bends. Wrong body position causes blood supply disturbance of spinal cord. Many internals turn to be clamped. Moreover, this leads to nerves entrapment that can adversely affect organs. People, who suffer of radiculitis or have hurt their spinal, are recommended to sleep on a hardest surface. By the way, the pillow should be as little as possible. The low position of your head during sleeping affects positively your cervical, improves your brain circulation, promotes pressure normalization and prevent wrinkles on you neck and face.

Secret 5

Sleeping nude is preferable.

Sleeping nude not only looks very sexy but as well has a good effect on your skin, as it can breathe. If you are cold, you'd better take one more blanket.

Sleeping pronate is harmful.

The most beneficial position for sleeping is sidelong, because this way you can turn

several times a night. Sleeping on your back is also acceptable.

Your bed should be warm, but the air in you bedroom should be fresh and cool. Never neglect ventilation of your bedroom before seeking bed. Remember, that your bed-clothes should be clean, warm and certainly it should be beautiful. Try to use natural cotton clothes for your bed. The color of your bedroom walls and clothes affect considerably your sleep. Red color provokes insomnia, but green and blue colors relax and calm. According to recent data deep colored bed-clothes favor good sleep.

Don't set alarm-clock! In fact, our sleep is divided in cycles. Each of them consists of "fast" and "slow" phases of different profundity. Usually, the cycles last from 60 to 90 minutes, moreover health people have less cycle duration. For complete rest it's enough to sleep about 4 biocycles. Sleeping 6 cycles is also normal. It's very important not to break sleep during your biocycle. Waking up in the middle of such an interval will make you feel down during the whole day. That's why you shouldn't set alarm-clock, but wake up according to your inner clock. Although, if you have to set alarm-clock, you should allocate your time in such a way, that your sleep doesn't break cycle.

Secret 9

Don't lie long! As soon as you open your eyes try to smile, stretch yourself, throw off your blanket and wake up. Confess at least yourself, that there were cases, when you went back to sleep after you realized that you woke up too early! Try to wake up earlier than you usually do! You'll notice how many useful things you'll manage to do if you woke up early in the morning! You can do your exercises, cook a good and healthy breakfast as well as find more time for self-care. It's possible, that it would be rather difficult to do it for the first time and you'll certainly want to go back to your bed. But remember, that it's not your true biological need, it's just a habit!

Relax before sleeping! It could sound trivial, but when relaxing you receive a lot of positive emotions and get ready for your rest.

Tips for those who want to relax:

- take a warm bath with scented oil

- drink a glass of milk with honey or a cup of tea with mint and lemon-balm

- think of something pleasant; you can even dream

- take a short walk before going to rest

- have a relaxing massage

- have a slow and tender sex

Some people consider that we spend half of our life sleeping. Sleeping is one of daily's pleasures. That's why you should follow these tips with pleasure and do not do it against your will.

When you understand, that you are the one who can change your life for the better, a

pleased smile will appear upon your face. But a smile is the main condition of good-looking.
